The directory
BusinessListings.co lists home-service businesses as a convenience. A listing is not an endorsement, and we don’t verify licences, insurance or the quality of anyone’s work. Please check those yourself before you hire, using the hiring checklist on each trade page.
Accuracy
We work to keep listings accurate, but details can change. If something is wrong, tell us through the listing form.
Reviews
Reviews must describe a real experience with the business. We check every review before publishing it and don’t accept reviews from owners, employees, family, competitors, or anyone offered something in exchange. We publish negative reviews as long as they follow these rules, and businesses can reply. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or include personal information.
Quote requests
When you request a quote, we send your details only to the business you chose. We don’t sell or share them with anyone else.
Verified badge
A Verified badge means we checked the business’s licence (where its trade requires one) and proof of insurance on the date shown. It’s not a guarantee of their work.
Claimed profiles
Businesses that claim their profile are responsible for the information they give us. We may edit or remove content that is misleading or inappropriate.
Cost
Listings, claimed profiles, reviews, quote requests and the Verified badge are free.
